Producer / vineyard: RECULET Vineyards A 17-hectare family owned and operated vineyard located 40 km north of Bordeaux, in the heart of the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Created in 1979 by Jean Louis RECULET, the vineyard is now managed by his daughter Marion.
Soil: Clay-limestone and sand.
Vinification / Vineyard management: Traditional Wine aged in barrels for 15 months.
Small-batch limited vintage: 4500 bottles
Size: 1 hectare.
Average age of the vines: 22 years.
Alcohol content: 14%.
Tasting notes: Ripe fruit aromas, beautifully round, soft and silky tannins.
Best served at 16-18 °C, paired with red meat or meat in a creamy sauce.
